As our Director of Talent Acquisition, you will use your expertise in full-cycle Recruiting and best practices to design effective talent strategies and processes, and manage and leverage vendor partner relationships to achieve talent focused strategic business goals. Assess current recruiting strategies and processes to achieve best-in-class status. As the strategic business partner for Talent Acquisition, you will design and implement a strong talent assessment process for all positions.  The Director of Talent Acquisition will bring a mix of experience, talent, style and values to succeed in a complex, diverse, and exciting environment. 

Responsibilities
  • Design and manage effective and attractive applicant lifecycle processes from sourcing through onboarding
  • Proactively share market and competitive intelligence to inform talent, business and organizational design decisions.
  • Directly recruit and ensure effective recruitment by utilizing, promoting and managing to contemporary sourcing methods and effective interviewing/candidate evaluation techniques.
  • Conduct operational analysis, trending & benchmarking
  • Use and communicate meaningful metrics analysis (e.g., turnover, retention)
  • Participate in school vendor fairs, local and national conventions/shows
  • Enhance the candidate pipeline process as well as the candidate experience 
  • Analyze the usage of executive recruiters, headhunters and staffing agencies and develop a strategy that defines when a search is best served by using an outside resource. Review current vendor lists and develop a method to determine what resource should be retained as preferred vendors. Negotiate vendor contracts and manage all vendor relationships.


Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring the following professional experience and personal qualities:
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred
  • Seven years’ experience as a recruiter for all activities of full cycle recruitment , preferably in the dental and/or healthcare industries
  • Three + years experience as a manager
  • Proven experience independently creating and implementing a full range of recruitment and onboarding plans
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of employment laws pertaining to the selecting and hiring process
  • Expert level knowledge of contemporary and effective recruitment strategies, and extensive experience implementing those strategies in a complex, high growth environment
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to engage staff, manage change and influence others
  • Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills
