InterDent is based out of Inglewood, CA with a second office in Vancouver, WA and backed by the private equity firm H.I.G.

The Role:
Our current Supply Chain Management process is tactical and reactive.  We’re looking for someone who can thrive in this environment but also evolve our process to be strategic and proactive.  This is a great opportunity for people who have been successful in Supply Chain Management processes that they have inherited but are now seeking to create their ideal system. 
A qualified individual can perform a combination, but not necessarily all, of the following duties:
  • Direct oversight of purchasing, contract services, inventory services, and value analysis;
  • Maintain and further develop a standard product catalog listing all equipment and supplies;
  • Develop supply chain management best practices in areas such as systems integration and optimization, inventory control, and demand planning;
  • Optimize routines to ensure delivery of supplies and improve supply chain metrics in terms of cost, quality and service;
  • Monitor and report on vendor such as purchase requirements, prices, trade and cash discounts, deliveries, current product development and submission of bids and quotations;
  • Coordinate with the deployment of supply chain management processes across corporate, operations business functions and external suppliers;

Job requirements:
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Supply Chain Management or business related field or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of 8+ years in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Inventory Management within the Healthcare industry;
  • Previous supervisory and management experience;
  • Information search and analysis with strong problem resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare provider supply chain operations and challenges.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERPs (e.g., SAP, Visual ERP).
  • Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
  • APICS certification preferred: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM); or other related certifications (e.g., CFPIM, CIRM, SCOR-P, C.P.M., CSM or CPSM).
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, pick, pinch, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motion.
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
